Zoe and Patrick realise they are under siege from alien machines as they become...。明永乐年间，朱棣即位，励精图治数年，全国风调雨顺，可谓是难得的太平年代。平一姑（潘洁饰）携子平常（孙耀威饰）与浪子王九（李立群饰）浪迹京城，靠平庸医术行骗赚钱。王九低劣医术夺走平常挚爱的肉身凡体，靠捕头相帮开设医馆，平常则做了其大弟子，并收日本人竹野幸福（罗志敏饰）为徒。王九与房东盈不足（黄小燕饰）日久生情，心中却始终挥不去亡妻芍药（张茜饰）的身影。平常与农草堂（仼泉饰）参加太医院考试，双双被录用，可平常仍怀念市井生活的逍遥自在。一姑被段天命（王群饰）要挟，不敢与儿子草堂相认，原来平常是当年被人错抱的医神金农匮（王德顺饰）之子......。本剧基于真实事件、2004年法国纪录片《楼梯悬案》、书籍《Written in Blood》等素材创作而成。故事将探索Michael Peterson的生活，他那位于北卡罗来纳州的大家庭，以及他妻子Kathleen Peterson十分可疑的死亡。。
