北京电视台与美国普利策传播公司合拍的26集教育情景喜剧。《电脑之家》故事说的是：这一家人热爱电脑，学习知识的事迹被微软 (中国) 公司的高层知道了，专程前往这一家，向他们赠送了“电脑之家”的纪念牌。在第26集中，微软公司负责人是由当时的微软 (中国) 公司总裁杜家滨先生亲自出演的，参与的还有当时的微软 (中国) 公司公关经理王树彤。《电脑之家》拍摄完成后，剧组利用剩余的资金，又在日本NEC公司拉到赞助，继续拍摄了姐妹篇26集教育剧《家有电脑》，与《电脑之家》配合播放，即一集《电脑之家》一集《家有电脑》。。At the start, a man is almost killed by a woman with a knife.
