上海解放初期，陈毅（徐福昌 饰）成为新上海笫一位市长。军统头子毛人凤派遣胡铁雄（柳健 饰）执行刺杀陈毅的“波斯猫计划”。公安局侦察员鲁军（徐元奇 饰）从一名被俘特务囗供中得知敌人计划，胡铁雄在行刺前无意中得知陈毅竟是十几年前母亲的救命恩人，迟疑中，刺杀行动失败。通过寻人启示，胡见到久别的母亲，生性残忍的胡铁雄并不念陈毅救母之恩，又在陈毅的食物里撒下毒药，母亲对儿子的行踪产生怀疑，逼其吐出真情，但他并不思悔改。鲁军把情况向陈毅作了详细汇报，陈毅不计个人恩怨，认为只要胡铁雄放下屠刀，将既往不咎。但胡铁雄决心破釜沉舟，他趁陈毅带人赴浦东抢险，驾驶摩托艇追了上去......。Jonna has lived at the orphanage all her life.
