一场期待已久的约会即将到来。唐老鸭站在镜子前，穿着打扮极为考究，他往身上狂喷香水，喜悦之情溢于言表。桌子上摆放着女朋友黛西的照片，显然今晚他将和女朋友度过浪漫的一夜。正当唐老鸭准备出门时，三个调皮的小外甥也穿上礼服，尾随其后。唐老鸭在正要出门的时候发现了他们，虽然他将小家伙们赶了回去，可是小鬼头还是有自己的办法跑出家门。一步三颠，唐老鸭带着精心准备的礼物来到黛西家门口，不过礼物却被小家伙们冒领了。不管怎么样，权且打发走碍事的小外甥，唐老鸭总算等来了和黛西独处的时刻。无奈小家伙们三番五次捣乱，浪漫的约会充满不测……。Nothing is more frightening, as the narrator points out, than a ‘time-rich nosy person’.
